Guide
How Shipping Container Delivery Works in the UAE
Ordering a container is the easy part. Here's what actually happens between confirming your order and the container landing on site.
Confirming your order
We confirm size, condition, and your delivery address, then give you a price the same day you enquire. The delivery day depends on where the container is going.
Site access requirements
Delivery trucks need a clear, level approach and enough turning space to position the container. Tell us about tight gates, overhead cables, or soft ground in advance so we can plan the right truck and crane setup.
Delivery timelines
Dubai and Sharjah are same-day delivery. Abu Dhabi is next-day delivery, including the city, Mussafah, ICAD, KIZAD, Yas, Reem, Al Ain and Al Dhafra (Ruwais, Madinat Zayed, Ghayathi, Mirfa, Liwa and Sila). Delivery is quoted on request. Other emirates are confirmed when we quote. The container price and the day are set when you order, once payment and site access are ready.
On the day
The container is offloaded directly onto a prepared, level surface. We recommend a compacted base or concrete pad, especially for modified units or long-term placements.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to prepare the ground before delivery?
A level, compacted surface is recommended, especially for long-term placements or office conversions. For short-term storage, a flat area is usually sufficient.
Can you deliver to remote or restricted sites?
Yes, tell us about access restrictions, narrow gates, or remote locations in advance and we will plan the right vehicle and approach.
