What's in ICAD
The Industrial City of Abu Dhabi is three zones, ICAD I, II and III, laid out for heavy industry. Plots are large, often holding fabrication bays, pipe yards, chemical stores and oilfield-equipment compounds.
Who buys containers in ICAD
- Oil and gas service companies that need a lockable store for tools, hoses and certified equipment.
- Fabricators and steel yards that keep consumables and offcuts out of the weather.
- Chemical and lubricant distributors who need a ventilated steel box, separate from the main store.
Getting a container to ICAD
Delivery to ICAD I, II and III is next day. Oilfield yards use a cargo-worthy box as an equipment store. Fabricators use a 40ft for pipe and profiles. Chemical stores need a ventilated unit, separate from the workshop. Delivery is quoted on request.
Delivery notes for ICAD
- ICAD plots can be large and unfenced. A plot number without a location pin is not enough for the driver.
- If you're storing chemicals, oils or gas cylinders, say so. We'll suggest a ventilated unit, and you should check your civil-defence requirements.
