Jebel Ali Port (DP World's flagship terminal), Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), the Jebel Ali Industrial Areas, and Dubai South and Expo City further inland. It's the densest mix of shipping lines, freight forwarders, warehouses and depots in the country.

That's also why used containers are easy to find here. Boxes come off-hire from shipping lines, get graded, and are sold as cargo-worthy or storage units. Buying where the stock already sits keeps the delivery leg short.

Jebel Ali and Dubai South are same-day delivery. A cargo-worthy box here is usually for export: we send the container number and CSC plate so your forwarder can check it before you pay. A storage-grade box is for a yard or a site store. Delivery is quoted on request.

• Port-side and free-zone plots usually need a gate pass raised by the tenant. Send the plot number and a site contact with your order.
• Tilt-bed trucks need a clear run-off of roughly the container's length plus the truck. If space is tight, we'll send a crane truck instead.

• 40ft High Cube (40HC / 40HQ): The export standard and the most-asked-for size here. Used from AED 6,900.
• 20ft container: Heavy, dense cargo and small storage pads. Used from AED 3,900.
• 40ft Standard container: Same floor as a high cube, about 30 cm less height. Ask us, we offer 40HC.
